A Realtor’s Six Pillars of Success in Any Market: An Introduction
Jul 20, 2021Something interesting happened earlier this year. After 16+ months of Zoom coaching sessions and meetings, it was finally time to reenter the world. As I started to line up speaking events and in-person sessions, I brainstormed topics that might hit best in this strange moment.
The market was (and is) totally nuts. We’re all feeling strange and out of our elements. And the traditional ways of doing real estate had been seemingly tossed out the window for the whole of 2020.
And so I landed on this: let’s go back to the basics. A moment of chaos is the ideal moment to rethink and strengthen our foundation. In the next six blog posts, I’ll be sharing my six fundamental pillars that I used in my business to ensure growth no matter the market.
We can’t control the market. We certainly can’t control the state of the world. But we can control our own business model, and make darn sure it’s able to change and adapt when necessary.
Look at this way:
Right now, we’re operating at about 10% of the normal inventory level. Most likely, you and every Realtor you know is scratching and clawing over that same 10%. It’s the low hanging fruit — so why not?
At the same time, the other 90% of the market is sitting around thinking about what their opportunity is going to be over the next 6-8 months. Who are they going to turn to when they’re ready?
